Q   I am booked in for some of the NCT courses.  Will this clash with HypnoBirthing?

A   No!  Although HypnoBirthing is a complete training in itself, its teachings don't require a particular belief system, so it can go hand in hand with any other courses or classes you want to attend.  For some couples, the more knowledge they acquire, the more prepared they feel.

Q   I am a VBAC and although I would like to try for a natural delivery this time, have been told I will have to be in hospital and may well need another C-section.  Is it worth doing HypnoBirthing?

A   Yes!  HypnoBirthing mums are trained to 'breathe' their baby down - there is no forced pushing - which minimises the stress on the scar tissue during labour.  Even if you go for another C-section - elective or emergency - HypnoBirthing techniques ensure you stay calm, relaxed and in control and your recovery is better. Look up statistics for VBAC - incidents of scar rupture are a tiny minority.

Q Are you trained in this work?

Yes - qualified, registered and insured for Hypnotherapy, NLP, HypnoBirthing, Trauma Resolution and have attended training in Birth Crisis with Sheila Kitzinger
